Easy to moderate to difficult trail. It starts flat and climbs several foothills/hogbacks and the ride will be rocky, but this trailhead gives you access to Blue Sky and indian Summer trails, you just have to go through Rim Rock trail first.
This trailhead is also a way to avoid the Entrance fee for Horsetooth reservoir.
This trail can be rode as a short out-and-back, but is a great way to connect to Rim Rock Trail, Blue Sky Trail, Indian Summer Trail, and the Devil's Backbone Trail.
Need to know: E-bikes are not allowed in Larimer County and this trailhead does not require an entry fee. No dogs allowed.
Medium size dirt parking lot. You can check the parking lot status on the website to see if it is crowded.
