Foothills trail heads both north and south from the four mile creek trailhead. Bicycles may be ridden only on those trails that are posted with the international bicycle symbol. Foothills trail connects to the hogback ridge trail to the north and wonderland lake area to the south.

The trailhead has 36 standard parking spaces and 4 ADA spaces.
