This trailhead inside Rocky Mountain National Park offers access to strenuous trails that include more than 1,400 ft. and some less strenuous trails that give access to less skilled users. Most park trails can be explored with snowshoes during winter months.
In general, terrain and deeper snows on the west side of the park make for better for cross-country skiing, but you are welcome to strap on your skis throughout the park.
Parking available at trailhead. Parking pass required.
