Description
Nature’s beauty is captured at this rustic vacation resort. It sits in the peaceful heart of Roosevelt National Forest and is located 41 miles northwest of Ft. Collins, Colorado in Larimer County.
Glen Echo is close to various national forest recreation areas, including Cameron Pass, North Park, and the Laramie River Road recreation areas, which offer cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, snowmobiling, hunting, camping, fishing, and great hiking. After a long day of recreation, the guests of Glen Echo can sit, relax, and enjoy the back deck or the river that runs through the property.
Glen Echo was established in 1922 and sits along the wild and scenic Cache La Poudre River on CO Hwy 14.
The Bellvue Post Office delivers our mail, but we are actually close to Rustic, CO on Hwy 14. The resort sits at an elevation of 7,200 feet above sea level. This year-round destination has served travelers and residents for 100 years.
We are Dean & Tami Mazzuca. It has been our dream for a long time to own a resort/campground. We finally found our dream property at Glen Echo Resort in the Poudre Canyon. We both grew up camping in this area and have kept up that tradition with our families, so it is a very special place to us. Being Colorado natives, we have an appreciation for our beautiful mountains and all that they offer. We have met so many amazing people in the canyon, both locals and visitors.
We appreciate all the support we have received over the past 7 years, especially during the Cameron Peak fire and the mudslides and floods of 2021. Please come by and say hello or stay awhile in one of our cabins! We are looking forward to helping you create lifelong family memories just like we have!
