Description
These are popular snowshoe routes for good reasons: The trails are only minutes from I-90 and they’re an instant gateway into a Cascadian Winter Wonderland. The incredibly picturesque trail snakes through forested valleys to alpine lakes and meadows surrounded by majestic peaks. You can’t go wrong exploring this location, but be aware that you’ll have company!
Two outhouses at loop end, and a great location along a winter creek for snow play.
Snowshoeing along the closed forest service road toward Denny Creek is popular for longer day trips.
Your sno-park permit pays for road plowing, sanitation, and for snow play, and snowshoe access on trails and closed roads.
Restrooms, designated snow play area, no overnight camping/snowshoeing or skiing at Sno-Park. No parking between dusk and 8:00am.
Exception: From April 1 to 30, a Sno-Park Permit may or may not be required. Please obey posted signs indicating whether a permit is needed. Contact the local agency listed for each Sno-Park for more information.
