This is among the easiest to pop into for a quick hike within Fort Collins. It's not rigorous, so if you are looking for a nice hike, this is great. We consider this a hike because it's on a dirt path.

It serves as flood control, wildlife habitat preservation and a way to improve water quality in streams and groundwater, but it's also a great way to escape city life for a bit.

Great spot to see birds and wildlife and your dog will definitely enjoy it too! There's an outdoor classroom and a outdoor art installation. Have fun!
