Set at the foot of Sleeping Elephant Mountain, where it got its name, Sleeping Elephant Campground is a gorgeous paradise that will provide you with picturesque natural views, the cool breezy ambiance of the countryside, and a wonderful vacation adventure. It is located near Highway 14 and it is easy to find, even for tourists who are not from Fort Collins.

On a different note, this campground has 15 sites that can accommodate up to eight guests each. Also, it is ideal for campers with tents or those with small RVs or vans.

Need to know: This campground is open seasonally from May 27 - September 18. There is also a nightly fee of $21, but is discounted by 25% when water is turned off. Would not recommend larger RVs.

The parking length ranges from 15 to 30 feet.
